Notwithstanding, the mandate and programming choices of International Medical Corps require staff with a high degree of resilience, sound judgement, the ability to move fast, and the willingness to travel and work in unstable situations and harsh conditions.Job SummaryThe Medical Director is primarily responsible for the vision, strategy, design, implementation and management of the health programs of the Emergency Response. The Medical Director will work in collaboration with the senior management team while managing health teams in the field. The Medical Director will make frequent visits to the field sites to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and to ensure programs are in line with internationally accepted standards and/or relevant Ministries of Health.
