• Medical doctor with Master’s degree or equivalent in Nutrition/Public Health from recognized learning institution plus 5 years of experience in related field or Bachelor degree in Health or Nutrition or related field of study with 8 years of experience in related field • Proven experience in emergency nutrition settings, BCC, PHC, SHC and others like CMAM, IYCF, major epidemic diseases surveillance and epidemic/outbreak investigation and response • Training on CMAM, IYCF and PHC including Clinical Management of Rape (CMR) • Experience of facilitation of training review meetings and workshops • Experience on budget and administration logistics and Human Resources management • Experience on writing / developing project proposals including implementation reports • Knowledge of Mali and especially Northern Mali or the Sahel area as well as speaking Bambara or Songhai language is preferred but not required. • Ability to cope with stress; hardship; patience and flexibility and willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines; • Ability to work effectively with government, community leaders, international/national organizations, donors, partners and other International Medical Corps relationships. • Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English and French. Advanced proficiency in the use of MS Office, and other computer applications • Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and familiarity with nutrition surveys (Coverage, standard and KAP surveys). • Strong organizational skills • Ability and willingness to travel and work in rural areas where the project is implemented • Demonstrated experience and skills in ensuring community participation and gender issues in humanitarian programming • Ability to provide technical support for IMC staffs and government health workers on proper implementation of the service.
